This summer I was at the beach with 8 of my stinkiest boy cousins. I was the only girl!  When we got in the carts one of my cousins said “I’m gonna beat you!” I was angry at him I said “good luck!” with an angry face. All of a sudden I heard BEEEPPP!!! That meant go. I pushed the pedal down as hard as I could. My leg was locked with my foot shaking. I zoomed right passed him. He gave me a mad look while I just laughed. At last I got to the front. I felt the wind blowing in my hair, the sound of the waves crashing down on the surface. I felt alive I never wanted to end, but it ended. When we pulled into the pit stop my cousin said “good job!” I said “thank you.” With a big grin on my face. At the end of the day I knew you could have fun anywhere, anytime, and with anybody. That was the best experience EVER!

Hi my name is Khloe this story is going to be about 2013 and what I want 2014 to be like. 2013 had really cool events. Some of the events were very special. I  have three that were really fun! The first one is that was when my softball team won the championship! The team we played against was Pack Attack. My team was so exited we played for 2 days. The last day we played is when we won that game ended at 11:30 at night. I didn’t care though I was just glad that we won. The 2nd greatest is when I went on a vacation to the Frio River. Every time I’ve went there its been a drought except for this year. It finally was easy enough to float on it. The favorite things I like to do there is to swing off ropes and jump off cliffs. The final thing is when I went to the Great Wolf Loge. There was this one ride that was fun but scary. it was called The Red Tornado. When you pull up to Great Wolf Loge you will see it. It looks like a tornado except for that the bottom is not open or the top. The colors are red,blue,and yellow. When you get inside of it there is like gallons of water rushing in and out of it. Now I’m gonna talk about what I want 2014 to be like. I want to try to hit a ball out to the fence. I want to learn how to throw a curve ball. I’d like to eat less junk food,and I’d like to learn how to write better. The books that I would like to read is Catching Fire, Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2,Lemondy Snicket’s last book The End,and 90 Minutes in Heaven.

June 1611 Explorer Gazette   Henry Hudson was an experienced sailor.  He is a very intellengent man sailed toward the Netherlands.  His crew of 20 thought after that they were going back to England, but Hudson sailed more of the Northwest passage his crew grew angry.  They put Hudson, his son, and 7 other loyal crew members in a small boat with no oars. I think that 8 people ate each others flesh and the last person got eaten by a shark.
