Should every kid get a trophy? People have different opinions about if people should get a trophy. I think no,kids don’t need a trophy to keep their spirits going. I’m a kid and I rather have somebody say great job than get a trophy. Another reason why kids shouldn’t get a trophy is because some kids may work their hardest,and others kids may not so those kids are getting the same trophy.

2 things that I learned was: I learned long divison,and in and out numbers.

2 things that I struggled with: I struggled with fractions,and writing.

2 things that surprised me was: that we would we would have 2 writing Staar test,and that we would read these books called Paradise Called Texas,Willow Creek Home,and Spirit Of Iron

2 thing that disappointed me is:that we had to do a Staar test,and no fun fridays.

In my fourth grade class my teacher asked me to write about a novel that we read. The novels are A Paradise Called Texas and Willow Creek Home. The book that I’m going to write about is Willow Creek Home. It is a great book so now I would listen up because I’m about to tell you about a chapter. A Wild Ride is the best chapter so far in my opinion. Mina a main character got captured by a Comanches. She spit saliva in his eyes,kicked him, and then held on to a branch. Her arms were bleeding rapidly.She finally got away because of Tucan her horse saved her.The reason why I like this books chapter is because of all the action.

Chapter 6 The Promised Land.

 

Pa,Ma,Mary,Laura,and Carrie are getting ready for Winter Pa goes hunting every day to get meat.Ma,Laura,and Mary pick potatoes,carrots,beets,turnips,cabbages onions,peppers,and pumpkins.Also though out the week they did chours.When Pa came back from hunting he would say “Wheres my little half pint of sweet cider half drunk up?’

My opinion I liked this book and would recommend it because its on this one family saying what they do when it becomes winter.

I would give this book 5 stars

 

Saving water is the best way to have fresh water. If we waste all of the water we could die. You think you can die from being old or getting hurt,but there is one more way you could die and that is when have a drought. The first step to save water is to play in the sprinklers when watering the grass. The best time to play in your sprinklers would be at 5:00 or 6:00 am.Also try not try not to play in the sprinklers for a long time. It can cause water conservation. Next,you can collect water from a rain barrel to save water. When you collect  the water from the rain barrel you can use it to wash your car. You can also use it to wash your hands. Would you use it this way? Finally,taking shorter showers help for wasting a lot of water. The best way to save is to take a 5 minute shower instead of taking a 30 minute one. Did you know that taking a30 minute shower wastes about hundred gallons of water? Saving water is a big deal! The next time you see someone wasting water,tell them how bad it is to waste.

Mrs.Claus did not like that  Mr.Claus had to work all by himself’, so Santa went all over the world.When Santa got back to the North Pole,it was already Christmas Eve,so he packed up the gifts and went around the world again.After all the gift were gone,Santa was tired so he landed his sleigh by a gnarled tree,but there were elves in the tree.Eldon one of the elves,said,”Okay lets make some toys.When it was Christmas Eve again,Santa woke up and went back on the sleigh and thanked all the elves.

I liked this book because it is telling  me how got his elves.
